Job summary

DLP Cardiac Partners in Morganton, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our UNC Health Blue Ridge team. You will provide high-quality patient care in a dedicated cardiac/critical care setting and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.

Licensed RN in NC or compact state with an unencumbered license is required, with BLS and ACLS within 90 days. Minimum two years of critical care or cardiac cath experience and the ability to read EKGs are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in NC or compact state with an unencumbered license.
• BLS certification required
• ACLS required within 90-days
• Minimum of two years of critical care experience or cardiac catheterization experience and working with hemodynamic waveforms and vaso-active medications required.
• Ability to read and recognize EKGs and dysrhythmias required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
