Job summary

Memorial Health in Springfield, IL, is seeking a Full-Time Cath Lab Registered Nurse for a day shift schedule consisting of three 12-hour shifts with on-call requirements. The role involves rapid, high-acuity vascular and cardiac procedures, as part of a Magnet hospital environment focused on safety and excellence.

The RN will provide age-appropriate patient care, participate in research and quality improvement, and adhere to Memorial Health standards and professional ethics.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Illinois required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care and age-appropriate assessment.
• Performs data analysis to identify nursing problems and develops outcomes.
• Creates and implements an interdisciplinary plan of care in partnership with patients and families.
• Executes interventions to attain expected outcomes and evaluates progress.
• Delegates patient care tasks to LPNs and unlicensed personnel based on capability and needs.
• Maintains documentation of patient care and ensures physician orders are implemented.
• Precepts new nursing staff and students; participates in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
