Qualifications

• Active state RN license is required.
• BCLS (AHA) and ACLS must be current or obtained on hire.
• BSN degree is preferred.
• One year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients.
• Addresses psychosocial, physical and general care aspects for the surgical environment.
• Communicates with the physician continuously about patient condition.
• Assists with maintenance of equipment and inventory.
• Assesses room or equipment functioning and readiness.
• Obtains supplies for cases and supports Cardiovascular Lab team.
• Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data during procedures.
• Monitors and records patient condition in the Cardiovascular lab.
• Participates in performance improvement and quality improvement activities.
