Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a qualified registered nurse for the Cath Lab at UAB St. Vincent's. Provide direct nursing care, implement patient care plans, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program, with licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per policies and protocols.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans and communicate patient condition.
• Coordinate care as primary liaison among disciplines for well‑coordinated care.
• Discharge planning with the healthcare team and execute orders from physicians and nurses.
