Job summary

Memorial Hermann is seeking an experienced RN for the Cath Lab Observation Unit. The role involves delivering professional nursing care, conducting assessments, assisting with exams and treatments, and maintaining medical records. Requires 3+ years of RN ICU experience, 12 hr day shifts, 1:1 to 1:4 patient ratios, and certifications including BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelors of Nursing preferred
Licenses/Certifications: Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license; Basic Life Support
Experience/ Knowledge/ Skills: RN levels align to years of ICU/clinical experience and strong communication

Responsibilities

Delivers safe and appropriate care to patients, according to nursing skills and patient needs.
Collaborates with interdisciplinary team and makes clinical decisions in patient care.
Coordinates treatment plans and develops discharge and transfer plans.
Participates in program evaluation, process improvement and child-centered outcomes.
Considers diverse patient needs across the continuum of care, ensuring high service standards.
Promotes growth by completing education requirements and mentoring less experienced staff.
