Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care in accordance with nursing process and policies.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and documents findings.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency and scope of practice.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in life-saving interventions as needed.
• Educates patients and families on conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Maintains infection control protocols and ensures safety in patient care.
• Documents care thoroughly in the medical record and participates in quality improvement initiatives.
