Job summary

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is looking for a Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse PRN who values and influences patient care. This role includes coordinating patient care, assessing and documenting nursing activities, and responding to emergencies.

The ideal candidate is a graduate from an accredited nursing school with current RN licensure, BLS certification, and at least 2 years of cath lab experience. Comprehensive benefits and a strong team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Current Nursing (RN) licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Must have ACLS or complete ACLS training within 6 months of hire.
• At least 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate all nursing care.
• React accordingly to emergencies.
• Administer medications & IV conscious sedation under physician's direction.
• Scrub and assist physician during angiographic studies.
• Provide accurate and timely nursing documentation.
