Qualifications

• Active PA RN license or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• Preferred: specialty certification.
• RCIS certification encouraged within five years.
• Act 34, Act 33, Act 73 FBI background clearance certificates required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care during cardiac catheterization procedures and monitor hemodynamics.
• Prepare patients for procedures and obtain informed consent.
• Maintain aseptic technique and assist cardiologist during catheterization.
• Document procedures accurately for regulatory and billing purposes.
• Ensure availability of supplies and participate in inventory control.
• Cross-train across related Cath Lab areas as needed.
