Job summary

Trinity Health-ND is seeking a Cath Lab RN in Minot, ND to deliver specialized nursing care for cardiac and radiologic procedures. The role involves pre-procedure assessments, intra-procedural monitoring, medication management, and post-procedure recovery coordination, all within a team-based, high-quality care environment.

The position requires ND or compact RN licensure, BLS within 30 days, ACLS within 6 months, and PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• Current or temporary RN license in ND or compact RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days
• ACLS certification (or achieved within 6 months of hire date)
• PALS preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pre-procedure assessments, prepare patients, and verify clinical readiness in alignment with Cath Lab protocols.
• Monitor patient status throughout procedures, including hemodynamic changes, cardiac rhythms, sedation levels, and overall clinical stability.
• Assist physicians and technologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures by managing medications, maintaining sterile technique, and supporting equipment use.
• Document assessments, procedural details, medications, and patient responses clearly and accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Provide post-procedure recovery care, including monitoring, education, and coordination of discharge or inpatient transition.
• Participate in Cath Lab quality initiatives, equipment checks, and ongoing professional competency activities.
