Job summary

Avita Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Cath Lab at Avita Galion Hospital in Galion, OH. This role involves assisting in cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures, with on-call expectations and commitment bonus opportunities.

Ideal candidates have a nursing degree, 1–2 years in acute/critical care, BLS and ACLS certifications, and current licensure. Avita offers competitive wages, benefits, PTO, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or graduate of a diploma, associate or baccalaureate program.
• Minimum of 1-2 years nursing experience in acute care/critical care environment.
• Current BLS certification.
• Currently licensure (as applicable).
• Current ACLS certification

Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiac catheterization, vascular and interventional procedures.
• Perform emergency procedures such as IAB and temporary pacemaker insertion.
• Assist in NCDR registry reporting, quality initiatives and compliance for Cath Labs.
• Follow established standards of practice under the direction of an invasive radiologist or cardiologist.
• Participate in patient and family teaching and act as patient advocate.
