Job summary

Advocate Health’s Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for Cath Lab Prep & Hold. Full-time, 7a–7p, 36 hours weekly, with no on-call requirements.

The unit operates three Cath Labs, focusing on prep and recovery for cardiovascular procedures. Requirements include an accredited nursing program, IL RN license, BLS/ACLS, and at least 1 year of nursing in Critical Care or Cath Lab.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of Illinois.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association and ACLS.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in Critical Care or Cath Lab.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead with evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and effective communication to ensure patient safety and optimal experience across the continuum.
