Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Arizona is seeking a part-time registered nurse (RN) to coordinate nursing care, provide direct patient care, and educate patients and families. The RN will contribute to transitions of care and support nursing practice across the continuum, including leadership activities and quality improvement.

The Cath Lab team collaborates closely with physicians and technologists to deliver high-quality care for diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program as recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• If program not ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA-accredited, at least one year RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year LPN experience at Mayo Clinic is required.
• One year RN experience in applicable care setting or one year current LPN experience at Mayo Clinic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care, including direct patient care, education, and transitions of care.
• Support professional nursing practice across settings and continuum of care.
• Provide leadership through preceptor roles and participation in quality improvement efforts.
