Job summary

Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips is seeking a Registered Nurse, Advanced Care for the Pre/Post Cath Lab. This full-time role supports the DPH Cath Lab department with 5:30am-4pm shifts, no on-call, and a strong focus on complex patient care in a high-acuity cardiac setting.

The candidate should have 2+ years of Cath Lab/ER/ICU/PreOp/PACU experience, current Florida RN licensure, BLS, and an approved nursing education background. Benefits start day one.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical knowledge, skills, and judgement to care for patients requiring complex assessment and therapies, high intensity interventions, and high-level continuous nursing vigilance.
• Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays such as cardiac monitors and respiratory equipment.
• Responds to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol.
• Serves as a preceptor, charge nurse, unit educator, and/or nurse clinician.
• Maintains regular attendance and compliance with hospital policies.
