Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or Diploma in Nursing, or higher, required.
• Current RN license in state of practice, temporary or compact licensure accepted.
• BLS and ACLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs.
• Formulates and revises a plan of care with patient/family and health team input.
• Implements and coordinates care, supervising activities of the health care team.
• Evaluates patient progress and teaching effectiveness; documents responses clearly.
• Administers medications/IV conscious sedation under physician direction.
• Promotes evidence-based practice and supports quality improvement.
