Job summary

Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus invites experienced RNs to join the Invasive Cardiovascular Laboratory (J2-1), delivering high-level nursing and technical support for complex cardiovascular procedures. You will work with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, caring for adults with coronary, structural heart, and vascular conditions using state-of-the-art technology.

The role features day shifts on a 3–12 schedule from 7:00am to 7:30pm, with an on-call component after training.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, ADN, BSN)
• Current state RN licensure
• BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
• ACLS certification within six months of hire
• One year of recent RN experience
• Or licensed RN with two years of LPN experience in same department as substitute

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services.
• Assess patients, complete nursing assessments, document findings, notify physicians of abnormal findings.
• Perform telephone triage and call rotations.
• Administer treatments and medications.
• Establish care plans with patients, families and healthcare team.
• Evaluate and maintain standards of care.
• Educate patients and families.
• Cover other nursing roles in the department.
