Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Corpus Christi Medical Center seeks an experienced RN Cath Lab to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the Cath Lab. You will collaborate with physicians and care teams to deliver timely cardiovascular services in a busy hospital environment.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate Degree in Nursing, active RN license, ACLS/BLS, and at least 1 year in critical care; cath lab experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Active RN license in the state(s) of practice and/or a current compact license.
Associate Degree in Nursing required.
Minimum 1 year of critical care experience; cath lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess patient condition at admission and during each shift.
Assess safety risks and regulatory compliance.
Assess pain and reassess after interventions.
Identify abuse or neglect and report to providers.
Document care in the medical record promptly.
Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and follow-up.
Educate on non-medical follow-up measures.
Manage care team and delegate as appropriate.
