Job summary

Advocate Aurora Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cath Lab at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, IL. The role requires licensed IL RNs, with a BSN preferred and on-call capability as needed.

Expect four 10-hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:30, with 40 hours per week and benefits eligibility. On-site position with strong emphasis on patient safety, care coordination and rapid response to acute events.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with IL RN license.
• BSN preferred; ADN acceptable with agreement to enroll in BSN within four years.
• Current AHA CPR certification.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts; on-call may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate patient-centered care using evidence-based practice.
• Support safe patient environment and transitions across care settings.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care per standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.
