Job summary

Advocate Health in Park Ridge, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cath Lab. This full-time role features four 10-hour shifts and on-call responsibilities as needed by the department.

The unit includes four Cath Labs supporting minimally invasive cardiovascular procedures and patient care coordination. The ideal candidate has completed an accredited nursing program, holds an Illinois RN license, and has BLS and ACLS certifications, plus at least 2 years in critical care or Cath

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Illinois RN license issued by the state of Illinois.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association) and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of critical care, Cath Lab, EP and/or IR nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in line with standards and policies.
• Lead with evidence-based practice and clinical judgment to ensure a safe environment and best patient experience across the care continuum.
