Equiliem Healthcare is seeking a skilled PAT RN for shift coverage in Livingston, NJ. The role involves perioperative nursing across pediatric to geriatric patients, with emphasis on accurate assessments, documentation, and patient education.

Expect 7am–7:30pm three days per week, plus on-call nights and monthly weekend on-call duties. Ideal candidates will have 2 years of critical care experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification.

Qualifications

• 2 years critical care experience required.
• RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS required.

Responsabilités

• Assessments and care planning for diverse patient populations from pediatric to geriatric.
• Provide direct patient care and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of nursing processes and patient progress.
• Demonstrate professionalism and adherence to policies for professional growth.
• Prioritize patient safety and maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
• Follow universal protocol and safe transfer techniques, ensuring patient safety.
• Understand unit-specific procedures, anesthesia considerations, and postoperative care.
• Lead and prioritize patient care based on needs and condition changes.
• Involve patients and families in education and decision-making during pre- and post-operative care.
• Support completion of PAT testing orders and identify potential omissions based on surgery and health.
