Job summary

Murray-Calloway County Hospital is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for the Cath Lab on a full-time basis in Murray, KY. The RRT will administer respiratory care and life support, educate patients on pulmonary therapies, and support other RCPs and students under leadership supervision.

Minimum education requires graduation from an accredited respiratory care program with NBRC credentials and Kentucky state licensure, plus CPR/First Aid for Health Care Professionals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for Respiratory Care.

Responsibilities

• Administers respiratory care and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies.
• Provides patient education on pulmonary diseases, medications and therapies.
• Acts as a resource for students and other professionals in the Respiratory Care team.
• Under the direction of the Medical Director and Cardiopulmonary leadership.
