Job summary

UCHealth in Colorado is seeking an experienced RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab to join the team full-time. The role is onsite with day shifts and requires 1+ year of cath lab or critical care RN experience, plus ACLS and BLS certifications. Call is required.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• ACLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• BLS Healthcare Provider required; CPR for Professional Rescuer card with current validity.

Responsibilities

• Prepares environment, orients and assesses patient and reviews medical records for safety.
• Responds to life-threatening situations using nursing standards and protocols.
• Provides nursing care in a technically complex environment.
• Assesses learning needs of patient/family and provides education accordingly.
• Demonstrates critical thinking, decisive judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision.
