Job summary

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital in Ocala, FL is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Recovery RN to provide direct nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and protocols. You will be accountable for several patients during a designated time frame and work with a collaborative team that treats others like family.

Responsibilities include implementing care plans, monitoring patient status, coordinating discharge planning, and executing physician and nursing orders.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Florida RN license (and/or approved multistate RN license) is required; compact license holders have 60 days to obtain Florida license after relocation.
• Associate degree required.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient’s discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
