Methodist Richardson Medical Center in the Dallas area seeks a Cardiovascular Tech RCIS to support invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab under supervision.

The role includes monitoring, scrub and circulator duties, and equipment operation. Requires an associate or bachelor’s degree in science or healthcare, ACLS, RCIS within six months, and ARRT/TX RT(R) in lieu of RCIS where applicable.

Qualificações

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in science or commensurate healthcare experience.
• Current AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
• RCIS certification within six months of hire date.
• ARRT and TX RT(R) in lieu of RCIS where applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Assists in teaching and orientation of students and new staff.
• Assists physician as a monitor tech during cath lab procedures, interpreting basic and advanced dysrhythmia and EKGs.
• Operates imaging equipment under physician direction as a scrub tech.
• Assists with diagnostic procedures as a circulator, monitors patient status during procedures.
• Transport of patient to and from department and maintains cath lab readiness.
• Maintains sterile technique and handles supplies and medications as required.

Formação académica

Associate or Bachelor's degree in science or commensurate healthcare experience

AHA ACLS certification

RCIS certification

ARRT and TX RT(R) in lieu of RCIS
