IR/CATH LAB TECH - 40 HRS DAY (Monday - Friday, 7:00-15:30 shifts)

Certs Required: MD license, RT-R ARRT, ACLS, BLS
On Call: Call every other week Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 15:30-22:00 and Saturday 08:00-16:00
Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday
On-site: Local rate within the specified miles (see AM)
Shift: Days 7:00-15:30 • 40 hours weekly

Responsibilities
- Special Procedures: Interventional - tunneled catheter placements (mediports, permacaths, hickmans), embolizations, drain placements, suprapubic catheter placements, peg placements, pleurx catheter placements
- Pain management: Epidural blocks, radiofrequency ablations
- Vascular procedures: Angiograms, thrombectomies, fistulograms, IVC filters
- Skill requirements include: Interventional Radiology, PACS, Angioplasty, Embolization, IVC filter placement, Liver Biopsy, Mesenteric Angiogram, Paracentesis, Stent placement, Thoracentesis, Catheter/drain exchange, Internal/external biliary drainage, Renal Artery Stent Placement, Ureteral Stent Placement, Carotid Angiography, Discogram, Embolization, Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy, Endovascular Interventions, Central Venous Access (non-Tunneled/PICC lines)
- Equipment and workflow: Siemens systems, C-arm/portable C-arm/contrast, Cerner; Perform EKG lead placement; Prep access site; Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias; Scrub and maintain sterile field
- Other: Client/Philips Azurion C-arm/portable C-arm usage
Qualifications
- MD license
- RT-R ARRT
- ACLS
- BLS
- 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology or related field
