Job summary

Sanford Health seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging with emphasis on patient care and image quality. You will position patients, operate radiographic equipment, and ensure images meet clinical standards while following radiation safety guidelines.

You will provide education to patients, navigate the EMR, and may participate in on-call rotations. ARRT and BLS certifications are required, with appropriate state licensure for the facility location.

Qualifications

ARRT certification/eligibility is required.
Knowledge of radiographic positioning, film/image processing, quality control, and radiation protection is required.
BLS certification within six weeks of employment is required (re-cert as necessary).
NDMIRT licensure if working in North Dakota is required.
IA clinicians must have an Iowa permit to practice.
A CNA certification may be required within the first eight weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiology procedures.
Ensure accurate patient positioning and high-quality images.
Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and protection practices.
Provide excellent patient care and education before, during, and after imaging.
Navigate the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
May be required to participate in on-call rotations (nights, weekends, holidays).
May perform mobile imaging, EKG, cardiac monitor placement, and DEXA procedures.
