Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging exams, position patients correctly, and operate imaging equipment to deliver high-quality images. You will follow radiation safety guidelines and provide patient education throughout the imaging process, using the EMR system.

Qualifications include ARRT certification and completion of an ARRT-accepted educational program. Night shifts are 12 hours, with a 36-hour weekly schedule and potential on-call requirements

Qualifications

• ARRT-certification required and a program accepted by ARRT.
• Working knowledge of radiographic principles, including radiographic positioning, film/image processing, quality control, and radiation protection is required.
• Lifelong learning to maintain ARRT status and comply with state licenses.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging examinations and ensures high-quality diagnostic images.
• Proper patient positioning and adherence to provider requests and clinical guidelines during imaging.
• Implements radiation safety practices and uses EMR for documentation and workflow.
• May include on-call shifts nights, weekends, and holidays at Sanford Rural Health Network sites.
