Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for exam and explains procedure in lay terms.
• Performs various x-ray exams according to standards and division procedures.
• Positions patient and uses immobilization devices as needed.
• Operates x-ray equipment and adjusts exposure per protocol.
• Monitors patient condition and reports concerns to radiologist.
• Enters patient history and exam data; logs exams and tracks images.
