Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center is seeking a Cath Lab Nurse PRN to provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and families, and assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac studies.

RN license and Cath Lab experience are required; ACLS and BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of start. The hospital is a 270+ bed facility near downtown Chattanooga, offering a broad benefits program and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN - Registered Nurse credential.
• Cath Lab RN experience REQUIRED!

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate all nursing care.
• React to emergencies as they arise.
• Administer medications & IV conscious sedation under physician's direction.
• Scrub and assist physician during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies.
• Provide accurate and timely nursing documentation in MediTech and Camtronics.
• Record, monitor, and interpret hemodynamic measurements and valve areas.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Registered Nurses (RNs) provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and the public about various health conditions, and provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members. RNs must use independent and considerable judgment in providing a wide variety of services. As directed by a physician, RNs also give patients medicines and treatments.

What You Will Do In This Role

• You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate all nursing care.
• You will react accordingly to emergencies.
• You will administer medications & IV conscious sedation under physician's direction.
• You will scrub and assist physician during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies.
• You will provide accurate and timely nursing documentation in MediTech and Camtronics.
• You will record, monitor, and demonstrate understanding of hemodynamic measurements and valve areas.

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Cath Lab RN experience REQUIRED!

Parkridge Medical Center is a 270+ bed hospital. We are near downtown Chattanooga. We feature comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and surgical services. These services include cardiovascular surgery and cancer treatment. These services include intensive care, orthopedic and spine surgery, and rehabilitation. The facility includes a state of the art neurosurgery program. Patients also have access to OB‑GYN services. Patients have access to a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. They also have access to (NICU) and behavioral health treatment centers for children and adults.
