Hudson Regional Hospital in Secaucus, NJ is seeking a Director of the Cath Lab to provide strategic and operational leadership for the Invasive Cardiovascular Department. This working manager role blends clinical mastery with financial oversight and HR responsibilities.

The position requires NJ RN licensure, a BSN (MSN/HA a plus), 3–5 years in cath lab/ICU, and at least 2 years in a leadership role. BLS/ACLS are required; CCRN preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in New Jersey (or eligible)
• BSN required; MSN or HA degree is a plus
• Minimum 3–5 years of cath lab, ICU, or high-acuity CCU experience
• At least 2 years of leadership experience (Charge Nurse/ Supervisor/ Manager)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; CCRN preferred
• Strong knowledge of clinical operations, budgeting, and staffing

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily procedural schedule to maximize lab utilization and door-to-balloon times.
• Direct nursing and tech staff in care for cath lab patients (catheterization, angioplasty, pacemaker, EP studies).
• Maintain 24/7 staffing readiness for cardiac emergencies and on-call rotation.
• Lead interview, hiring and onboarding of RNs and cardiovascular technicians.
• Manage the department budget, cost containment and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with Chief of Cardiology to evaluate new technologies and protocols.
