Job summary

Kettering Health Main Campus is seeking a Lead Cath Lab professional to guide complex cardiac catheterization procedures and coordinate the lab's workflow. The role emphasizes informal leadership, technical expertise, and delivering safe, compassionate patient care.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in a cath lab, with RCIS/ARRT/CCI certifications and an Associate's degree in radiologic or cardiovascular technology; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or closely related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience as permitted by state law.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization or electrophysiology lab setting.
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline preferred.
• Current certification and registration with ARRT or CCI; RCIS certification preferred.
• Ohio Radiologic License if applicable; BLS and ACLS certifications (or to be obtained within 90 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide complex cath lab procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Provide informal leadership, technical expertise, and workflow coordination.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and infection control.
• Mentor cath lab staff and precept new members; manage daily case assignments.
• Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and supplies in the EHR.
• Participate in quality assurance, data collection, and accreditation activities.
