Job summary

Centinela Hospital Medical Center is seeking an experienced cardiovascular lab assistant to scrub and monitor hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The role requires fluoro/pan operation with the appropriate license addendum, and preparation of the procedure room and supplies.

You will contribute to staff training and participate in performance improvement activities. Per diem position in Inglewood, CA with benefits aligned to hospital policy.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R and state licenses as required.
• Experience in a Cardiovascular Lab and/or Interventional Radiology preferred.
• Cardiovascular technologist training in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required on hire and maintained.
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Scrub procedures and monitor physiologic/hemodynamic data for cardiovascular cases.
• Assist in invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures in the lab.
• Prepare power injector and contrast; monitor injector rates and contrast used.
• Ensure procedure room readiness and manage instruments and supplies.
• Participate in staff meetings, performance improvement, and training of new staff.
