Job summary

Centinela Hospital Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks an experienced cardiovascular laboratory professional. You will scrub and monitor physiologic data during cardiac procedures and help prepare the lab for interventions in a busy setting.

The role requires ARRT-R licensure, BCLS, and ACLS within 30 days, with prior cardiovascular lab experience and strong computer skills. This is a full-time day-shift position at Centinela in Inglewood, CA.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R license and state requirements.
• Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab and/or Interventional Radiology; preferred.
• Cardiovascular technologist training with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring; preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist by scrubbing procedures and monitoring physiologic/hemodynamic data in the cardiovascular lab.
• Prepare procedure room and ensure adequate instrument/supply par levels.
• Participate in staff meetings and performance improvement activities; train new staff.
• Assist in invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
• Prepare power injector and contrast; monitor injector rates and contrast amounts.
