Job summary

AdventHealth Minneola is seeking a part-time cardiovascular healthcare professional to perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures, including coronary, electrophysiology, and interventional radiology services.

You will respond to clinical emergencies, administer treatments per policy, verify orders, and maintain equipment and supplies to ensure sterile, safe procedures. Minimum associate degree; RN/RT/RCIS/RCES credentials and related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree is required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ year of healthcare experience required.
• 2+ years in cardiac cath/EP/neurosciences/critical care or interventional radiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures.
• Responds to clinical emergencies within scope of practice.
• Administers and evaluates treatments and medications per policy.
• Verifies orders, facilitates implementation, and communicates with physicians.
• Maintains and operates equipment and supplies for cardiovascular procedures.

Job Description:

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures, including coronary, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and peripheral interventions.
• Responds appropriately in clinical emergencies and performs within the scope of practice for the position.
• Administers and evaluates effectiveness of treatments and medications according to policy and training.
• Verifies orders, facilitates implementation, and communicates with physicians as needed.
• Maintains and operates equipment and supplies for cardiovascular procedures, ensuring proper setup and sterilization.
