Job summary

VCU Health is seeking an Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist with RCIS/RCES/RT credentials to assist in invasive cardiology procedures in the Cardiac Cath or EP Lab. The role includes scrub, monitor, and circulating duties as part of a dedicated team, ensuring safety and adherence to standards.

The position offers a $20,000 sign-on incentive for offers accepted by Oct 31, 2026, with compensation ranges based on credentials and experience.

Qualifications

• RCIS/RCES certification required within two years of hire.
• ARRT RT certification within 90 days of hire; VI/CI, RCIS or RCES within two years.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scrub, monitor, and circulating duties during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Work as part of the invasive cardiology team in cath or EP lab.
• Ensure adherence to ALARA and department safety standards.
• Maintain sterility and accurate charge entry during procedures.
