Impella experience preferred. IR experience is preferred; training can be provided.Hybrid experience is preferred; training can be provided.Manifold experience preferred.

The Cath Lab performs LHC/RHC, diagnostic and interventional procedures, IABP cases, Rotablator, STEMI/MI care, pacemakers, generator changes and MICRAs.No EP or ablation procedures are performed at this time.No CVOR backup is available on site, so staged/protected PCIs and CTOs are not performed.IR cases include coil embolizations, nephrostomy tubes and nephroureteral stents, central lines, ports, G/GJ tubes from scratch and exchanges, IVC filters, tunneled and temporary dialysis catheters, Inari/Penumbra/EKOS for clots, and shockwave procedures.The team assists CT/MRI with biopsies. Neuro IR and Y90 procedures are not performed here.Hybrid cases include AAA grafts, peripheral/AO runoffs and fistulograms.The unit handles 7-14 cases per day.No transporter is available.Phlebotomy, respiratory therapy and hospitalist support are available 24/7.IR and cardiology coverage is available during the day and on call at night as needed.Intensivist coverage is available during the day and on call at night.The unit uses Pyxis for medication dispensing and Merge for hemodynamic monitoring.Equipment includes Alaris IV pumps, GE C-arms and a MedRad injector.
Weekday and weekend call are required.Weekday call consists of 1-2 call shifts, EOS until the following morning.Weekend call is 1 weekend per month, EOS Friday - Monday morning.Call response time is 30 minutes.Holiday coverage is call only, every other holiday.Self-scheduling is used with minor adjustments to fill gaps.Travelers take buddy call during orientation.
