Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. in Boston is seeking an Interventional Cardiovascular Technologist to join the Heart & Vascular Institute.

You will be part of the procedural team supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac, vascular, and electrophysiology procedures. You'll operate advanced imaging, monitor patients, interpret ECG data, maintain sterile technique, and help ensure safety and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in radiologic science is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• ARRT registration and state license required.

Responsibilities

• Be an essential member of the procedural team during diagnostic and interventional cardiac, vascular, structural heart, and electrophysiology procedures.
• Operate state-of-the-art cardiovascular imaging, hemodynamic monitoring, and diagnostic equipment.
• Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures; interpret ECG/hemodynamic data; respond using ACLS knowledge.
• Prepare procedure rooms, maintain sterile techniques, and uphold radiation safety standards.
• Provide compassionate education and support to patients and families; assist with post-procedure recovery.
• Contribute to quality improvement; mentor colleagues; maintain equipment readiness.
