Job summary

UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital in Longmont, CO seeks a Registered Nurse with cath lab, EP, ED or critical care experience for full-time days. Position involves prep/recovery for coronary and EP procedures, with 1-2 night call weeks and every 3rd weekend.

Onsite only; no remote option. Responsibilities include preparing the environment, reviewing medical records, patient monitoring, and post-procedure education.

Qualifications

• RN experience minimum 6 months or completion of UCHealth Fellowship.
• Graduate of an accredited RN program if <3 years experience; Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• State licensure as RN and Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the environment and review patient records before procedures.
• Monitor patient during procedures and provide prep/recovery care.
• Respond to life-threatening situations using nursing protocols.
• Educate patient and family as appropriate to age and condition.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-stress cath lab environment.
