Job summary

UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital is seeking a Cath Lab CVT to monitor and assist procedures in a fast-paced cardiac catheterization lab. You will ensure patient safety and support interventionalists during diagnostic and peripheral studies.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree in cardiovascular technology, radiologic technology, or respiratory therapy, with RCIS or RCES certification within 12 months of hire and BLS/ACLS credentials.

Qualifications

• Education requirements: Associate's degree in cardiovascular tech, radiologic tech, or respiratory therapy.
• Minimum of five years experience in lieu of education is acceptable.
• RCIS or RCES certification required within 12 months of hire; ARRT certification preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• The Cath Lab CVT monitors procedures including diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization studies, ensures safe patient care, and acts as a scrub assistant. This is a PRN Day Shift position.
