Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Coder II to join the Cath lab coding team. The role requires experience with ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS, and accurate data abstraction.

The ideal candidate will have CIRCC certification or strong credentials in professional and hospital coding, with a focus on high-quality documentation, accuracy, and collaboration with physicians and revenue cycle teams.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; prefer Cath lab coding experience.

Responsibilities

• Examine and interpret documentation to code diagnoses, procedures, and professional fees.
• Review codes and charges to ensure accurate billing.
• Communicate with providers for missing information and guidance.
• Reconcile billing issues and correct inaccuracies.
• Collaborate with revenue cycle to ensure timely processing.
