Qualifications

• RN licensure in Florida or a Compact State
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• ACLS and PALS are often required or preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale familiarity may be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Assess and analyze patients' health status and plan care.
• Document nursing assessments and communicate with care team.
• Coordinate discharge planning and initial admission assessments.
• Develop and update individualized care plans with the team.
• Educate patients and families about plans of care and treatments.
• Ensure accuracy of orders and adherence to policy.
