Job summary

Mayo Clinic Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a qualified cardiovascular technologist to assist in diagnostic and interventional angiography under physician supervision. Candidates should have a CVT or RTR credential, cardiology lab experience preferred, and be ACLS/BLS certified with RCIS within six months of hire.

The role requires flexibility for varied hours and on‑call duties; successful candidates live within 30 minutes of campus and contribute to a collaborative team focused on patient safety

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology or Radiography program.
• Two years Cath Lab or EP Lab experience preferred but not required for cardiac-focused backgrounds.
• Current CVT or RTR credentials required; ACLS and BLS certifications on hire; RCIS within six months.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, performing, and completing diagnostic/interventional angiographic procedures under physician supervision.
• Competence with a variety of Cath Lab/EP Lab equipment and devices (e.g., TAVR, Mitral Clip, Watchman, PFO closure, atherectomy, thrombectomy, IVUS, FFR, iFR, IABP, Impella).
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to hospital/department policies; support teamwork and flexible duties.
• Must reside within 30 minutes of campus and be available for on‑call/late shifts; varied hours.
