Job summary

The Baptist Health Cardiovascular Laboratory seeks a Non-Registered Cardiovascular Technician to join our team at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, AL. You will assist physicians in cath procedures, prepare equipment, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.

Required are a high school diploma (associates preferred), EMT certification preferred with BLS and ACLS, and strong teamwork, communication, and HIPAA knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree in Health Sciences preferred.
• EMT certification preferred; BLS required; ACLS required.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, hemodynamics, and sterile technique.
• Ability to operate cath lab equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to perform procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Provide physicians with reliable data and results upon completion of procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure patient safety and comfort.
