The Baptist Health Cardiovascular Laboratory seeks a Non-Registered Cardiovascular Technician to join our team at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery, AL. You will assist physicians in cath procedures, prepare equipment, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.

Required are a high school diploma (associates preferred), EMT certification preferred with BLS and ACLS, and strong teamwork, communication, and HIPAA knowledge.

This individual shall be responsible to provide a safe and meaningful service to the patient and physician. The Technician must be familiar with all the equipment involved in performing such duties, and ability to operate such equipment efficiently and accurately. This individual must have knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, hemodynamics, and sterile technique. The Cardiovascular Technician will be responsible to provide the physicians with reliable data and results at completion of the procedure. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.**Education / Experience**:High School diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree in Health Sciences preferred. There is a continuous need for speaking with clear diction and hearing sensitivity in conversation either by phone or in person. Continuous visual acuity at close and distant range. Inside protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. Minimal noise levels. Much exposure to computer work. Occasional exposure to risk of electrical shock.
