Qualifications

• Must be RCIS certified within 18 months of hire.
• ARRT and TX RT(R) required in lieu of RCIS.

Responsibilities

• Assist in teaching and orientation of students and new staff.
• Monitor patient status during procedures and operate imaging equipment.
• Clean and stock the cath lab.

Skills

Technical assistance in invasive cardiovascular procedures

Knowledge of medications and dosages

Equipment troubleshooting

Interpreting dysrhythmia and EKG’s

Education

Associate or Bachelor’s degree, science emphasis

Current AHA Advanced Cardio Life Support certification
