Job summary

A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Cardiovascular Tech to assist with invasive cardiovascular procedures. This role requires both an Associate or Bachelor’s degree with a science emphasis and specific certifications including AHA Advanced Cardio Life Support and RCIS certification within six months. Responsibilities include helping in teaching, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining sterile technique in the cath lab. Qualifications

• Required AHA certification must be current.
• RCIS certification required within six months of hire.
• ARRT and TX RT(R) are required instead of RCIS.

Responsibilities

• Assists physician as a monitor tech during procedures.
• Operates imaging equipment under physician's direction.
• Maintains sterile technique during procedures.
• Stocks and cleans cath lab.

Skills

Current AHA Advanced Cardio Life Support certification

RCIS certification

Experience in invasive cardiovascular procedures

Knowledge of medications and dosages

Ability to interpret EKGs and dysrhythmias

Education

Associate or Bachelor’s degree with science emphasis
