Job summary

HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge is seeking a Cardiovascular Specialist to provide expert nursing care in the Cath Lab, delivering patient-centered services within a high-acuity environment.

The ideal candidate holds Colorado RN licensure (or multistate), ARRT/RCIS/RCES eligibility, BLS/ACLS, and 1+ year in critical care or cardiovascular lab settings, with willingness to cross-train in related modalities. This role also offers strong benefits and opportunities for ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) OR
• Current Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) OR
• Current Registered Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES).
• Curr BLS and ACLS Certifications from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing, or accredited RTR and/or RCIS/RCES training program.
• Experience: preferred 1 year of experience in critical care nursing (RN) or 1 year of experience in cardiovascular lab setting preferred (ARRT/RCIS/RCES).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for solid expert knowledge of all Cath Lab procedures.
• The delivery of care is based on criteria that is age appropriate and is based on physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs of the individual patient.
• Prioritizes, provides, and promotes quality patient care to support the Mission, Vision, and Values of HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge.
• Maintains and supports facility technical and documentation expectations consistent with JCAHO regulations and standards.
• Demonstrates independent critical thinking skills to assume accountability for personal and team contributions.
• Must be willing to cross-train to one or more additional modalities such as Special Procedures as required.
