Job summary

HCA HealthONE Aurora is seeking a Cardiovascular Specialist — Cath Lab Registered Nurse. The role involves routine care and maintenance of radiological equipment, patient care, and collaboration with physicians during cardiac procedures.

The candidate will handle pre-procedure prep, post-procedure recovery, and discharge instructions while being able to work in a team and respond to emergencies with confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications

Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
Current Colorado RN license with BLS, ACLS and PALS certification.
PRN cath lab experience required.
Proficiency in cardiology nursing procedures and rhythm interpretation preferred.
Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, hemodynamics and rhythm interpretation preferred.

Responsibilities

Care for radiological equipment and deliver quality patient care in the cath lab.
Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure understanding.
Be available for on-call assignments and respond within 30 minutes for emergencies.
Interact with physicians during procedures and assist with data recording.
Administer medications per orders and manage pre/post-procedure care and discharge information.
