Job summary

HCA HealthONE is seeking a Cardiovascular Specialist - Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join their team in Colorado. You will care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures, operate radiology equipment, and support emergency cases with urgency and confidentiality.

The role requires a Colorado RN license and ACLS/BLS/PALS, with 2–3 years of relevant experience. You will work in a high-tech cath lab, coordinating with physicians, nurses, and support staff, and participate in post-procedure care,

Qualifications

Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
Current Colorado RN license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
2–3 years of experience in a specialty unit preferred (Critical Care, ED, PACU or Radiology).
Proficiency in cardiology nursing procedures and skills, including rhythm interpretation.
Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, hemodynamics and rhythm interpretation.

Responsibilities

Oversee routine care and maintenance of radiological equipment and ensure quality patient care.
Explain procedures to patients to alleviate anxiety and obtain informed consent.
Collaborate in a team environment and respond to on-call emergencies within 30 minutes.
Interact with physicians during procedures and assist with data interpretation and recording.
Administer medications per doctor's orders and manage pre- and post-procedure care and discharge planning.
