Job summary

Unity-Health in Searcy, AR is seeking an Angiography Tech I to join our cath lab team. You will operate angiography imaging equipment, prepare patients, and assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring safety and comfort in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program and ARRT certification, BLS, and a strong knowledge of angiographic imaging.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program.
• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of angiographic procedures and imaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for angiographic procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Operate angiography imaging equipment to capture clear and precise images of blood vessels.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures by managing imaging equipment and supplies.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and radiation safety guidelines to protect patients and staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
