Job summary

The Special Procedures Tech at UNC Lenoir Health Care supports cardiac cath lab procedures, providing patient care and data collection. You’ll work with radiology staff to ensure safety, prepare trays, scrub cases, and help with hemodynamic monitoring.

You will set up and assist with interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures, maintain aseptic technique, and uphold quality images while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Allied Health degree or RN with NC license.
• RCIS or 2-year cardiovascular program diploma.
• High School diploma with RCIS and 2 years related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve patients and families with courtesy while providing high quality images for interpretation.
• Promote a positive image of Radiology department and hospital; communicate with physicians and team.
